For seven months, two employees of JSC "AlES" were trained under the program "Gender Equality"

In May 2023, the last module of classes was completed. The organizer of the program was Samruk Business Academy. Gulmira Aldashukurova, Head of the Chemical Department of the A.Zhakutov CHPP-2, and Anara Imanova, Head of the company's Organizational Support Department, were selected by JSC AlES to participate in the project in the fall of 2022.

– In the period from October 2022 to May 2023, we were lucky enough to pass an incredible training program "Gender Equality". The purpose of the training was the need to gradually increase the proportion of women in the management bodies of companies with state participation to 30% on behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev," Anara Imanova shared. – The training was organized at the highest level. The organizers of this program thought through every step, worked smoothly and promptly, felt a sincere approach to preparation.

Professional coach Aigul Tasbolat focused on the topic "Board of Directors, Supervisory Board, Management Board – roles and responsibilities" in the first module. The concepts and principles of corporate governance, the structure of the company's management bodies, the functions, rights and duties of the Board of Directors were disclosed.

– For me, as a production worker, this topic was particularly interesting. The consolidation of the material took place in an exciting game in the form of a general meeting of the Board of directors of portfolio companies of Samruk- Kazyna JSC, Gulmira Aldashukurova continued. – The first module was held in one breath – acquaintance, interaction with each other, warm-ups and communication. We were very pleased to be among the professional, talented, erudite and beautiful women leaders of the Foundation group of companies.

In the second module, professional trainer Sergey Deryabin qualitatively revealed the topic "Inclusivity as part of the company's development", namely the formation and development of a team, decision-making, leader and team, resilience and resource states of a leader.

– Upon completion of the training, proving that leaders are always ready to rally behind an idea, a charity fund was organized for children suffering from oncology, the children's department of the Institute of Oncology in Almaty. On the eve of the New Year, the participants of the training collected funds. We used them to buy New Year's gifts for children and cots, sofas for the Institute of Oncology, Anara Imanova said.

According to the girls, the third module with a highly professional coach Mukhtar Bekzhanov was very intense and intense. The topic of the training "Strategic development of the company in conditions of high uncertainty of the future" turned out to be very relevant after the covid and the January events in Kazakhstan. The surprise of the third module for girls was a master class on the style of women's clothing.

The fourth training module with coach Saltanat Satzhan differed from all previous modules, the participants of the training analyzed the key financial indicators in the activities of the board of directors and learned how to analyze and calculate the attractiveness of the company for shareholders. The presentation of the material was simple and understandable even to non-financiers.

With an incredibly pleasant surprise, the fifth module of training began, the entire composition of the participants of the program was invited to the opera Tosca, the largest Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini, which was held at the Astana Opera, – Gulmira Aldashukurova noted. – The emotional evening passed in one breath. Positively charged, we were trained on the topic of Leaders of the new generation by the chic coach Sarsembayeva Raushan. The lecture was intertwined with fun interactivity and the last module ended unnoticed by all of us.

AlES employees received certificates. Anara Imanova entered the top ten participants and was awarded a gift certificate for passing coaching sessions with the famous coach Maria Zhukova from the University of Berkeley.

The ALEC girls are proud to have become participants in such a large-scale training. They entered the pool of female leaders of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of companies.
