ALES: HOLDING HEARINGS BY THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST HALF OF 2019

July 16, 2019 JSC “AlES” held hearings based on the results of the 1st half of 2019 to consumers and other interested parties in the provision of regulated services.

The public hearings were attended by the head of the Department for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Prices, DCRNMPC&CR (Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Protection of Competition and Consumer Rights)MNE RK in Almaty, Zhanabaeva A.G., Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of AUES A.A. Saukhimov, consumers and other interested parties.The hearings highlighted compliance with the quality and reliability indicators of regulated services for the production of heat energy and water supply through main pipelines, analyzed the volumes of provided regulated services for the reporting period, and identified the company's business prospects.

- According to the results of the 1st half of 2019. income from rendered services for the production of thermal energy amounted to 8925.6 million tenge, costs 8856.5 million tenge, profit 69.1 million tenge, -said AsselArgimbaeva, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Economics and Finance. water supply income through main pipelines amounted to 761.5 million tenge, expenses 595.2 million tenge, profit in the amount of 166.3 million tenge.

During the hearing, those who present asked questions about the implementation of upcoming investment projects (reconstruction of the combined ash and slag removal system at TPP-2, gasification of the Almaty energy complex TPP-1, TPP-2, reconstruction of the heating main of TPP-2 - ZTK), about the costs of servicing investment loans, direction depreciation deductions for the improvement of environmental indicators.

Public hearings in “Almaty Electric Stations” JSC are held in accordance with paragraph 6 of Article 25 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Natural Monopolies”.
