MEETINGS WITH A LABOR COLLECTIVE

       From 18 to 28 February 2019, as part of the annual reporting meetings in the field of corporate social responsibility, JSC «AlES» held meetings in labor collectives. In his speech, Nurlan Mukhamed-Rakhimov, Chairman of the Board, noted that this Corporate Social Responsibility Report is the seventh report. The report reflects the production indicators and indicators related to the wage fund, labor protection, employee training, labor motivation policies, information transparency policies, and the results of the Social Sustainability Index.

       -Being aware of its responsibility for contributing to the sustainable development of the company, our company assumes voluntary obligations for socially responsible behavior towards partners, employees, suppliers, government bodies, and the public,- said Nurlan Mukhamed-Rakhimov, Chairman of the Board, —AlES works to protect environment and energy saving. We implement socially responsible measures relating to employees and issues related to safety, health, motivation of personnel, sports activities, life and health insurance, personnel training. Measures to preserve stability in labor collectives, the prevention of protest sentiments, the resolution of labor disputes.

       The company annually updates the composition of the heads of departments by retiring employees who have reached retirement age, continued the speaker, developing the personnel reserve, is strategic in nature and it is aimed at ensuring the personnel security of the business and timely meeting the need for managerial personnel on the basis of succession planning and talent management.

       - In 2018, JSC «AlES» has been began transformation projects. Business transformation is a program of large-scale transformations in the company's activities through the automation, optimization and elimination of some processes, as well as the creation of other processes aimed at improving business efficiency, - said Nurlan Mukhamed-Rakhimov. -Transformation is a complex and long lasting process of changing a company both in form and in content, the ultimate goal of which is to increase the value of the company's shares.

       In conclusion, the Chairman of the Board assured the employees that in 2019 Almaty Power Plants JSC will continue its sustainable development in the field of corporate social responsibility.
