High school students discover the world of power engineering: plant visit to the Kapshagai HPP named after Sh.Chokin

During the fall break, an excursion to the station was held for the 11th grade students of the Branch of "Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics". The event was held as part of career guidance work aimed at expanding knowledge about renewable energy sources and understanding the importance of the energy profession.

– I liked how simply and accessibly they told us about the work of the hydroelectric power plant. I live in Konaev, and it was interesting for me to learn more about the plant's work, shared Alikhan Shikhiev, an 11th grade student.

Dastan Ozgeldi is sure that the knowledge gained on the tour will be useful for him in the future:

– The tour went great. I received a lot of rich information about Kapshagay HPP. It was very helpful to learn how the plant generates power. We saw the real power of the hydropower plant.

Overall, the tour was very interesting, this made it especially valuable and useful for all participants.
