ALES: PRIORITY OF LIFE AND HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES

By the beginning of December, all structural divisions of "AlES" JSC completed the annual mandatory medical examination of employees.
The medical commission that conducts periodic medical examinations includes doctors of different specialties, with the mandatory participation of a professional pathologist who determines the professional suitability for the employee to perform the work.

– In 2020, 2,937 employees underwent periodic medical examinations , - said Marat Akylbay, head of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection. - According to the results of the medical examinations conducted in 2020, 1 employee was transferred to another workplace, in accordance with medical recommendations and an internal regulatory document. According to the results of the medical examinations conducted in 2020, 53 employees were included in the" risk group", i.e. those who are on the" D " account for the following types of diseases: coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension. Employees with these diseases will be periodically sent recommendations on the passage of preventive treatment at the place of residence.

In accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the company conducts daily (every shift) pre-shift medical examinations of employees associated with the maintenance of dangerous devices, equipment and machines (all types of cranes, pressure vessels, operational personnel, etc.) and pre-trip medical examinations of drivers of all types of vehicles.- Pre-shift and pre-trip medical examinations include mandatory measurement of blood pressure, body
temperature, heart rate, passing an alcohol test, identifying complaints about the health of employees, - continued Roman Parfiriev, chief specialist of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection. - Pre-shift medical examination for the company is carried out – 690 employees. Pre-trip medical examination – 152 people.
In November 2020, a contract was signed for the supply of equipment "Electronic system of medical examinations" (hereinafter – ESMO). This system is fully automated, allows you to conduct a pre-shift (pre-trip) medical examination of an employee in 1.5-2 minutes, while a medical worker conducts this medical examination within 5-6 minutes.

Every year in September-October, the company conducts voluntary vaccination of employees against the flu virus. The company assumes the costs of vaccination. According to Marat Akylbay, in 2020, 410 employees were voluntarily vaccinated against the flu virus.
The company's employee health and safety system is designed to ensure a high level of labor productivity, reduce production risks associated with the possibility of harming the life and health of employees.
