JSC "ALES" RECEIVED CERTIFICATES OF READINESS FOR THE HEATING SEASON

The heating season of 2020-2021 began in Almaty on September 28 in accordance with the Decree of the Mayor of the city No. 3/396 of 28.09.2020.

In order to prepare for the heating season of 2020-2021, all the enterprises of Almaty Electric Power Stations JSC have accumulated the necessary operational fuel reserve – 500 thousand tons of coal, 24 thousand tons of fuel oil. To date, JSC "AlES" has carried out repairs and prepared 100% of the equipment of energy sources necessary to meet the needs of heating during operation in the winter maximum loads, taking into account backup boilers and turbines.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Electric Power Industry", Almaty Electric Power Stations JSC received passports confirming its readiness to carry maximum loads in the autumn-winter period of 2020-2021.
The Committee for atomic and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of energy of Kazakhstan conducted a review of the equipment readiness of objects of JSC "Ales", October 9, 2020 issued the certificate of readiness of energy-producing organizations for the autumn-winter 2020-2021 years.
The certificate of readiness for operation in the autumn-winter conditions of 2020-2021 of the Western Thermal Complex of JSC "AlES" was received on September 7, 2020 from the Department of Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Development of the city of Almaty.
JSC "AlES" fully fulfills its contractual obligations for the supply of electric and thermal energy.
