Changing tariffs at “AlES” JSC

“Almaty Power Stations” JSC informs consumers about the entering the fare of 58.44 tenge/m3 without VAT for the services for water supply through pipelines from January 1, 2014, approved by the joint order of the Departments of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Natural Monopolies in Almaty №260-OD from 20.12.13 and Almaty region № 398-OD from 20.12.13.

In accordance with p. 24 of Article 3 of the Law of RK “On natural monopolies and regulated markets”, approval of the tariff as an emergency regulatory measure on the service “Water supply through pipelines” is caused by a significant increase in the tariff for water services system of “Bastau” SCE (to 2,5 times).

“Almaty Power Stations” Joint Stock Company informs consumers about the entering tariff of 2 622.71 tenge/Gcal without VAT on services for the production of thermal energy from the 1^st of January 2014, approved by the joint order of the Departments of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Natural Monopolies in Almaty 261-OD from 20.12.13 and Almaty region № 399 from 20.12.13.
Tariff approval as an emergency regulatory measure on thermal energy production services is related to an increasing in the cost of strategic goods - fuel. Changes in fuel prices compared with prices in the approved tariff estimate are as follows:
- fuel oil by 37.7%;
- rich coal, Karaganda – by 8.5%;
- raw coal, Ekibastuz – by 6.9%;
- natural gas – by 1.8%.
