«Bılım, mansap, bolaşaq» Forum: strengthening partnership between the college and future employers

At the beginning of November 2023, the Forum with employers "Bılım, mansap, bolaşaq" ("Knowledge, skills, future") was held at the State Enterprise "Almaty State College of Energy and Electronic Technologies". The purpose of the event is to improve the quality of training of qualified specialists in the field of technical and vocational education, as well as to establish efficiency and long-term partnership between educational institutions and enterprises. The work of the Forum is focused on bridging the gap between educational organizations and enterprises, as well as between theory and attitude, taking into account the requirements of employers and the possibilities of new technologies. The event was attended by representatives of partner companies of the college, Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the city department of education, as well as the media.

Almaty Electric Stations JSC has been one of the key partners of the college for more than 50 years. Many graduates of Almaty State College of Power Engineering and Electronic Technologies are successfully employed in the departments of AlES JSC. The Forum organized a dialogue with employers on topical issues of personnel training in the Aquarium format. Daria Shayzhanova, Head of Human Resources Management, spoke at the event from AlES JSC.

– Participation in the Forum gave us a unique opportunity to see the potential of future employees and establish contacts with talented students. The Forum has become for me not only a platform for discussing educational issues, but also an inspiring experience, – said Baurzhan Mambetov, Senior Dispatcher of the Dispatch Service of "AlES" JSC.

The Forum program included a dialogue with leading guest lecturers in the format of "World Cafe" between employers and young specialists in the framework of Unconference (including business games, discussions and trainings with mentors), as well as site visit to the material and technical base equipped within the Competence Center and the project "Zhas Maman".

The best employers were awarded with certificates of appreciation from local executive bodies, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Atameken Chambers of Entrepreneurs.
