Sport is the norm of life

More than 400 athletes from 9 production departments of AlES JSC took part in the corporate sports contest

At the end of May, JSC "AlES" hosted a sports contest between departments. It was held as part of participation in the stage of the qualifying competitions of JSC "Samruk-Energo". The Spartakiad started with the opening ceremony of the games at the stadium in the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism.

Yerlan Kirkinbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "AlES", Serik Tymbaspayev, Chairman of the NGO Local Trade Union "Energia", and Alibek Tastanbekov, Director of the B.Orazbayev CHP-1 congratulated the participants on the start of the competition.

– A sports corporate event is held in order to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports among campaign employees. I am glad that athletes, employees of enterprises here unite into a single whole and go to their awards. I wish everyone good starts and feel like winners, said Yerlan Kirkinbayev, Chairman of the Management Board.

The Spartakiad was held in ten sports – mini-football, volleyball, basketball, arkan Tartu, asyk ata, arm wrestling, togyz kumalak, chess, table tennis and cyber sports (CS:GO). More than 400 athletes from 9 departments took part in the event.

The curtain of the competition was opened with a spectacular game of football. The teams that warmed up the football competition did not want to easily give away the main race of the competition. But there will be only one winner in the sport.

– In the final, a serious fight broke out between the strongest football teams of CHP-2 and CHP-3. The CHP-2 team won, explained Yerkebulan Bayanbai, senior master of the Kapshagai HPP electrical machine shop named after Sh.Chokin. – Football is a team sport, and the result of participation in competitions is the result of everyone's collective efforts. Thanks to all the teams for participating in the competition, we wish you good health and new sporting achievements!

Aydin Suanbekov, boiler-maker of the Energoremont PRP, started playing football at a young age. Football is a part of his life. Football is everything for the Suanbekov dynasty. She always plays for the national team of the PRP and AlES.

– I got a job at ALES in 2011. From that time to the present, I have been playing football with passion. My first sports contest of JSC "Samruk-Energo" was in 2013, then we took the 1st place. I was so proud! After that, we won prizes every year, and have always been leaders among the group of companies of Samuryk-Kazyna JSC, Aydin Suanbekov shared. I have been playing professionally since 2002. He played in the First League of Kazakhstan "Ile-Saulet". Now I play for the regional team. My goal in every game is to score a goal and become a champion! I do not regret that I got a job as a boiler cleaner. I am an energy-football player. It is a great honor for me to be an energy engineer and play for the national team of JSC AlES.

Bakhtiyar Yesenaly, a software engineer at ZTC, believes that the sports contest was held perfectly. He especially liked the fact that the selection of participants for the AlEC basketball team was carried out with the help of the head coach of KazAST. This transparency and objectivity satisfied all the participants of the Spartakiad.

– Sports competitions helped our athletes to develop dexterity, strength, endurance, and the ability to overcome difficulties. We have united into one whole, one family, said Kanat Azimkhanov, a leading engineer of the electrical laboratory of CHP-3.

The chief specialist of the department of thermal automation and measurements of B.Orazbayev CHP-1 Baurzhan Bekturov is sure that participation in the sports contest is very important for all athletes among the employees of ALES.

– It is very honorable to win the Spartakiad because the strongest take part. In the first duel on (arkan tartu), our opponents were the guys from the CHP-3. The first fight always turns out to be a "lump" the loss was an incentive to prepare for the next duel with the PRP. But there, too, our luck did not smile. We felt the advantage of our rivals, but in general, the rest of the matches were successful, and our refereeing at the Spartakiad was excellent. We fought with the ZTC team for reaching the finals, having won them in the semifinals, we came in second place, Baurzhan said.

According to Aktan Abylaykhan, an engineer of the Repair Service of the B.Orazbayev CHP-1, the sports contest was held at a high level. Each team gave 100%. For him, this is not the first Spartakiad, he participated in the discipline of Esports.

According to the results of the Spartakiad, the team of CHP-3 was recognized as the strongest (4-gold, 5-silver, 2-bronze). On the second – the team of the PRP "Energoremont" (3-gold, 2-silver, 4-bronze). The honorable third place at the A.Zhakutov CHP-2 (2-gold, 2-silver, 3-bronze).

– CHPP-3 received the team 1st place. This is a great result for us. In a short period of time, the captain of the team Kanat Azimkhanov gathered the best players of the station in all sports. During the lunch break and in their free time, the guys trained to work out a unified team spirit and teamwork, – Galina Gorbovskaya, head of the personnel department of CHP-3, proudly said. – We had strong teams in football and volleyball. The most spectacular competition is in esports. We took 1st place. We hope that the beginning of sports victories will give a positive result and a boost to sports for young people. The team of CHP-3 is proud of its athletes. We wish you new victories in Borovoye!

The ALES Sports Contest was very interesting and bright, with a sporty enthusiasm, noisy and very fun. Cascade HPP fans got a lot of pleasure and a lot of impressions from this event. This is a very important and necessary event, not only as a physical culture and wellness, but also a spiritual, interesting event for the Cascade HPP team! – Gulnaz Merembai, a metrology engineer at Cascade HPP, shared. Following the results of the corporate sports contest, an AlES team consisting of 62 employees in 10 sports was formed. The team will take part in the sports contest of JSC "Samruk-Energo".
