JSC "ALES" celebrated its 10th anniversary
On June 1, 2016, the joint-stock company "Almaty Electric Power Plants" celebrated its 10th anniversary. In a solemn atmosphere, the company was congratulated by energy veterans and partners of the company. Over 70 employees were awarded with certificates of honor and letters of gratitude at the celebration.
Despite the age of our company, energy producing enterprises of "AlES" are stations with a rich history. In 2015, TPP-1 turned 80 years old. In 2013, the Cascade HPP celebrated its 65th anniversary, and the ZTK - a 50-year anniversary. In 1962, TPP-3 was commissioned. Kapshagayskaya HPP was in operation since 1970. The "youngest" facility of "AlES" TPP-2 is 36 years old.
Production achievements of JSC "AlES":
- Implementation of investment projects;
- increase in available electrical power;
- increase in available heat capacity;
- increase in electricity production;
- reducing the specific fuel consumption for the delivery of products;
- reduction of own electrical needs;
- reduction of harmful substances emissions;
- reduced accident rate.

- The first of the Samruk-Energo group of companies passed verification of greenhouse gases;
