About carrying out 10th International electric power seminar (MEA-10) in Almaty

     From March 30 to April 3, 2015 at Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (AUPET) was held an international electrical power seminar (MEA-10) on the topic: "Distributed generation as a factor of innovative development of modern power systems." This seminar was organized by the Executive Committee of the Energy Council of the CIS and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the purpose to increase professional skill of executives and experts of CIS countries. JSC AlES provided organizational and technical support and took part in the work of the Secretariat.

Nearly 60 energy workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, as well as employees of Wärtsilä (Finland)- one of the world's producers of power plants for distributed generation used in operating and construction of gas - piston power plants in Azerbaijan, Estonia, Russia and Kazakhstan, together with Siemens took part in MEA-10.

A distinctive feature of MEA-10 is an active participation of the faculty, doctoral students, masters of the Almaty University of energy and communications.
