A report on the results of work in 2013 on corporate social responsibility was rendered at “Almaty Power Stations” JSC

At the period of 24-26 February 2014 within the framework of annual reporting meetings of the group of “Samruk-Kazyna” Fund company executives to the labor collective on the results of work in 2013 and tasks for the coming period in the field of corporate social responsibility, “AlES” JSC held meetings in labor collectives of the Company.
The report was made by the Chairman of the Management Board Nurlan Mohamed-Rahimov, who pointed out the main trends and results of the Company for the 2013, the Company's main priorities in the field of corporate social responsibility. The questions relating to payroll, labor protection, environmental protection, training of the Company's personnel, motivation of labor policy, the policy of information openness, and others were examined.

The report covered the major calendar events of the Company (the signing of the collective agreement, the completion of the expansion of the field of small section №4 of CHP-3 ash dump, the commissioning of the boiler room under the project “Reconstruction and expansion of Almaty CHP-2. III stage. Boiler Room”, the creation of the youth organization “Zharkyn Bolashak” Board and council of veterans “Aқsaқal kenesі”, 7^th anniversary of “AlES” JSC, the 70th anniversary of the Almaty power complex, anniversaries of production departments of HP Chain and WHC, joining into the association “KAZENERGY”, etc.).

In over whole, the report shows a sequence in the development of non-financial reporting process, improves the quality and transparency of corporate governance, and discloses the Company’s liabilities to its employees.

The questions on wages, housing, admission of workers to fill vacant positions, innovation in production and others were asked during the discussion. The detailed answers were given to all the questions posed by Company employees.
