The commissioning of the new boiler at CHP-2

At December 20 2013, “AlES” JSC received act of state acceptance commission on the acceptance of the boiler on CHPP-2 into operation. The total project cost is $ 13.2 billion tenge.
The project will cover the deficit of thermal energy in the Northeast part of the Almaty city, will increase the annual heat supply from CHP-2 to 1 million Gcal per year and improve the ecological situation in Almaty.
