“AlES” JSC is the first company from the group of companies of “Samruk-Energy” which has passed the verification

Four companies of “Almaty Power Stations” JSC as CHP-1, CHP-2, CHP-3 and WHC among the first sixteen companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan were included in the Order of the Minister of Environmental Protection of the RK “On approval of the plants passports” №117 from 17 June 2013 on obtaining the certificate on greenhouse gas emissions, without which the work of the enterprise is interdicted in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Code of Kazakhstan.
The accredited organization “Kazakh ecological group” LLP carried out the verification of “AlES”. The field of the verification is defined as an independent assessment of the applied methodology, data collection and processing and calculation of greenhouse gas emissions.
“Kazakh ecological group” LLP in the report № KZ-ver / 0025/2013 has confirmed that the documentation of “AlES” JSC (Reports of the greenhouse gas inventory for 2012, Passport of installations, monitoring plans, greenhouse gas emissions reduction Program) meets the requirements set by national and international standards.
The installed measuring equipment needed to perform the calculations was calibrated, a monitoring system was implemented and the volume of CO2 emissions and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions are calculated without errors, omissions and erroneous statements.
