The second place in the republican billiards tournament

Daulet Karamoldaev, Head of the electrical department of the Western Thermal Complex, is one of the winners of the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From April 10 to April 14, 2023, the tournament "The Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in billiards "Free Pyramid" was held in Almaty.

The strongest representatives of all regions of Kazakhstan came to Almaty to participate in the tournament. Among them was the head of the electrical department of the Western Thermal Complex Daulet Karamoldaev.

Daulet has been playing billiards since the age of 12, is a candidate for master of sports.

– In the group stage in the first match, Daria Koval, the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in billiards, won, then managed to defeat Bahadur Sharipov 4:0, scoring 26 balls with a cue, – Daulet shared.

In the third match for reaching the 1/4 finals, he defeated the master of sports from Aktau in a contested game. And in the 1/4 finals he won against a master of sports of international class, a world champion. In the semifinals, Daulet played with a candidate for master of sports and beat him with a score of 5:1. And in the final he lost to the master of sports from Karaganda.
