Made the first step...

On February 22-23, 2023, a new project "Seven Steps" of the Samruk-Kazyna Foundation with seven modules for active youth began in Almaty

The first meeting brought together 50 young power engineers from all regions of Kazakhstan. The exclusive training program was rich and informative. That's how young activists speak about her.

Zulfiya Beisebai, an apparatchik of the chemical water treatment plant of the A.Zhakutov CHPP-2, noted that it is a great experience and support for young people. She liked the unusual format of the training, an open dialogue with the Managing Director of the Fund, Gibrat Auganov.

– One of the highlights of the event for me was a visit to the AIR ASTANA training center. We had the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the aviation industry, from piloting to the work of flight attendants. We received valuable information about security and self–defense in conflict situations on board the aircraft, said Nurzhan Kaliyev, a leading economist at the AlES Management of Economics.

Asset Amirbekov, head of the repair service at B.Orazbayev CHP-1, chairman of the Youth Organization of AlES JSC, had the opportunity to present the company and investment projects: "At first I was a little worried, but the audience listened to me attentively. And I was able to calmly tell about our company, the work of the youth organization "Zharkyn Bolashak". I express my gratitude to the Foundation for organizing the training and the opportunity to pump myself".

– The event was held at the highest level. The excursion at the AIR ASTANA training center will be remembered for a long time. Everyone could feel themselves in the role of an airplane crew. I really liked the trip to Kapshagai HPP named after Sh.Chokin. The station staff answered all our questions. I am very grateful to the Foundation and our company for the opportunity to get acquainted and learn a lot of new things, – said Aigerim Omarova, engineer of the Western Thermal Complex.

Artem Gorodnichenko, an engineer of EPU LLP of the Division Network association of Kazakhtelecom JSC, shared his opinion about the last business trip:

– I was especially touched by the center "Let's Win Autism!", which is supported by the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna Trust". We saw firsthand why, why, and what the funds from the Fund are allocated for. Special children of the center read poems, sang songs, danced, played musical instruments. I do not know how to properly call these emotions that I experienced. I think that visiting such centers should become a mandatory event. Firstly, the Fund's employees see where the funds are going, and secondly, we do not value our lives. I realized that our daily problems are dust compared to what happens in life.

Merembai Gulnaz, a metrology engineer at Cascade Hydroelectric Power Station, saw a lot, heard a lot and of course learned. Now she will try to apply the acquired knowledge at her company, share it with colleagues and introduce new ideas.

The guys got a tremendous experience that will be useful to them in life. They are looking forward to the continuation of the training.
