Kapshagay HPP named after Sh.Chokin: Vladimir Leonidovich Tovkach and Mamyrali Kulakhmetuly Seitbek were farewelled to a well-deserved rest

February 13, 2023 at Kapshagayskaya HPP named after Sh.Chokin was retired by Vladimir Leonidovich Tovkach, the driver of the hydraulic lift of the motor transport section, and Mamyrali Kulakhmetuly Seitbek, an electrician for the repair of electrical equipment of power plants of the electric machine shop.

Vladimir Leonidovich Tovkach worked at the station for 12 years. This is a qualified specialist with a high sense of responsibility.

– I was on guard in Konaev, – Vladimir Leonidovich tells about himself. – In 1967, together with my parents, I arrived at the construction of a hydroelectric power station in the young working village of Novoiliysk, later Kapshagai. Childhood was Soviet with an October badge and a pioneer tie. I grew up with the city.

Vladimir Leonidovich's main hobby was machinery and cars, which determined the choice of profession. Already at the age of 16, he began working as an apprentice, and then as an auto mechanic of the Irtyshgesstroy convoy. By the age of 18, one of the first among his peers received a driver's license. During the army years, he gained driving experience on military equipment.

– I consider my employment at Kapshagai HPP in 2010 to be a vital success. Mutual assistance, support and respect of the team showed me that I was not mistaken when choosing a company. I treat every employee of the HPP with respect and gratitude. I consider the period of my working life associated with the Kapshagai HPP to be the most successful in my life.

Vladimir Leonidovich wishes the younger generation success in their work, constantly improve their knowledge and gain their work experience. It is also important to maintain the good labor traditions that have developed at the enterprise.

Mamyrali Kulakhmetuly Seitbek worked at the HPP for 14 years. He is an executive and competent specialist, has been a mentor for many generations of young electricians of the station.

After school, Mamyrali Kulakhmetuly worked as a builder. I worked alongside electricians and became interested in this profession. Then he entered a technical school with a degree in electrical engineering.

– In November 2008, he got a job at the Kapshagai HPP as an electrician of the 4th category for the repair of electrical equipment of the HPP. My mentor was V.A.Spravnov, thanks to him I quickly got used to the work and the staff of the station.

Mamyrali Kulakhmetuly constantly improved his skills and professionalism. I have always treated my work with respect and conscientiously.

– When I was young, I dreamed of becoming a teacher. I tried to enter a pedagogical university, but it didn't work out. Therefore, mentoring was mine. I was happy to share my experience, teach and educate young guys.

Mamyrali Kulakhmetuly urges young colleagues to treat their work conscientiously and constantly comply with safety regulations, improve their knowledge and monitor the trouble-free operation of the station.
