Silver from Astana

At the end of September 2022, Astana hosted the superfinal of the VII Spartakiad among the employees of the "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC group of companies. JSC "AlES" was represented at this large-scale event by 27 employees of production departments and 5 fans. Athletes competed in eight sports disciplines: mini-football, volleyball, streetball, table tennis, chess, arkan Tartu, togyz-kumalak, arm wrestling.

The undisputed leader of the team was Baktiyar Yesenaly, an electrician of the TSTAI of the Western Thermal Complex, who took 2nd place in the individual streetball competition.

– The Spartakiad has become a real sports holiday for all participants and fans! Everything was thought out and organized to the smallest detail. Comfortable conditions are provided for teams arriving from different regions. But, unfortunately, our team did not have enough training to take prizes, except for one – in streetball. Me and my team of the ALES national team believe that we have already done a lot, because not many people managed to get to the superfinal in Astana. We will prepare for the next Spartakiad, shared Yerkebulan Bayanbai, senior master for repair and operation of the Kapshagai HPP electrical machine shop named after Sh.Chokina, captain of the "AlES" JSC team.

For many children, the performance at the Spartakiad was the first experience of participating in such competitions.

Awarding of the winners took place in a solemn atmosphere at the closing ceremony of the sports contest. Congratulations to our colleagues on the well-deserved award, we wish them new sports victories and achievements! Already in January, our athletes will begin preparing for the new season.
