AlES: I Corporate Sports Championship

On May 14, 2022, the First corporate championship of JSC "AlES" started. It will be held in mini football, volleyball, streetball (basketball), table tennis, chess, arm wrestling. The calendar of events is scheduled until October 26, 2022.

The 1st corporate championship was opened by Serik Tymbasbayev, Chairman of the "AlES" trade union. He stressed that AlES JSC pays great attention to a healthy lifestyle and the organization of sports and recreational activities. The professional sports club "Abylai Khan" was rented especially for the competition.

The first championship began with a basketball competition.

– We are happy to participate in the sports championship. This gives us the opportunity to show perseverance, the will to win – qualities that allow us to achieve high results in the professional sphere. It unites not only production workers, but also sports professionals. Holding the championship is another step towards strengthening the corporate unity and unified team spirit of AlES, – said Anton Arzyukov, Head of the Department of Capital Construction of A.Zhakutov CHP-2, captain of the streetball team.

In mini football, streetball and volleyball, the team of A.Zhakutov CHP-2 became the leader by a large margin.

– During the championship, we meet with colleagues from other production departments, get acquainted, discuss issues common to all of us. Such communication is invaluable," continued Azamat Chakarov, Chief Specialist of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, captain of the volleyball team of the head office.

The organizers of the championship hope that it will become one of the brightest and most important corporate traditions of the company.
