OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY FIRST

The main result of the work of "AlES" JSC in 2021 – not a single industrial accident was allowed.

The Labor Protection Day for employees of the labor protection and Safety services of AlES JSC is a stage of summing up the results of work, successes and achievements in ensuring labor protection and safety over the past period. Every year, according to tradition, in March – April 2022, contests were held at AlES JSC:

– "The best employee in understanding the risk management system of industrial safety and the ability to conduct risk assessment at the workplaces of the production departments of AlES JSC";

– "The best organization of work on labor protection among the production departments of "AlES JSC".

– On the Labor Protection Day, 8 employees of AlES JSC were awarded diplomas and letters of thanks from Samruk-Energo JSC for their professionalism in the field of safety and security, – said Karim Sartaev, Head of the Industrial Safety and Labor Protection Department. – 9 employees of occupational health and safety services were awarded certificates of honor and letters of thanks from AlES JSC for their contribution to improving occupational safety, preserving the life and health of employees.

– Awarding is such a wonderful moment in the life of any person. It is a great honor for me and my colleagues. I believe that this is an assessment of the work of not only mine and our entire ALES team," Lyazzat Zhampozova, Senior Safety Inspector of the Safety and Labor Protection Service of the CHP–2 named after A.Zhakutov, shared.

This year, based on the results of work on safety and labor protection, the production department of CHP-3 was determined the winner of the competition. The winner of the competition was awarded a cup, a certificate of honor and a cash prize. The second and third places were awarded to CHPP-2 named after A.Zhakutov and Energoremont PME.

Holidays do not cancel everyday work to ensure safety and labor protection in the workplace.

– In April, another Safety Day was held at AlES. According to the approved schedule, the work of the commission was organized at the CHP-3, WTC, Kapshagai HPP named after Sh. Chokin and the Cascade of hydroelectric power plants. During the OS Day, 39 comments were identified", –  Azamat Chakarov, Chief Specialist of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, continued. – Special attention was paid to compliance with safety and labor protection requirements by contractors, where 4 violations were identified.
