CHP-1 named after B.Orazbayev and the Energoremont PME congratulated veterans of the home front, internationalist soldiers and Chernobyl victims before the Victory Day

Every year, according to tradition, solemn events dedicated to the Victory Day are held at the CHP-1 named after Orazbayev and the Energoremont PME.

Flowers were laid at the memorial obelisk and a solemn meeting was held at the CHP-1.

– We bow our heads low in memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War. On this day we remember and thank for the courage of the soldiers and officers who sacrificed themselves in the name of victory over fascism, – said Alibek Tastanbekov, Managing Director of CHP-1. – Special words of gratitude to the home front workers who worked at the station. These are Praskovya Konstantinovna Aksenova, Evlampia Fominichna Govorukhina, Alexey Fedorovich Korobkin.

The station workers visited the home front workers and sincerely congratulated them on Victory Day.

At the meeting, words of gratitude were expressed to the internationalist soldiers and persons who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. Malik Saidygulov, a driver of the central heat control panel for boilers, and Yuri Milyukhin, a tractor driver of the 4th category of the motor transport section, are currently working at CHP-1.

– I served as a corporal, a rifleman on the Tajik-Afghan border in 1994-1995. I try not to remember that time. I am grateful to the team for their congratulations and attention. The most important thing is a peaceful sky above your head! – Malik Saidygulov shared.

Yuri Milyukhin participated in the elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster for six months, received radiation. He is grateful to the staff of the station for the memory, for the words of gratitude and attention.

– When you do not see veterans with your own eyes, you do not encounter them, in our bustle you forget about them, about their exploits, about what they have done in the name of our present and future. Seeing them today, seeing the medals on their chests, I felt excitement, responsibility for the legacy they gave us. Thank them very much! – said Aidar Imankulov, head of the repair service of the "Energoremont" PME.

In total, "AlES" JSC congratulated 22 home front workers and 23 internationalist soldiers and persons who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. Everyone was given food baskets and a one-time promotion for the Victory Day holiday.
