SAFETY REGULATIONS ARE WRITTEN BY BLOOD

This is the video of AlES employees, who took 1st place in the competition for the World Labor Protection Day

The video prepared by the employees of "AlES" JSC awarded grand prix in the competition for the best video in the field of occupational safety and health. The competition was held among employees of subsidiaries of "Samruk-Energo" JSC and is dedicated to the World Labor Protection Day. The video was shot by employees of Kapshagai hydroelectric power station named after Sh.Chokin Akpeyil Myrzagalikyzy and Elena Naumova.

– We were preparing for the shooting with all responsibility, we analyzed every moment of the plot. We discussed with colleagues how to properly show in the video the importance of observing safety at work. We consulted with colleagues who work directly in the workshop with dangerous factors, – said Akpeyil Myrzagalikyzy, head of the logistics department of the station.

The authors of the video are not employees of the occupational safety and health service, so they turned to the chief specialist for industrial safety and labor protection of the Botakoz Salmakeeva station.

– Our colleague gave many examples of the catastrophic consequences of non-compliance with basic safety requirements. We realized that safety regulations are written in blood and their implementation is the most important condition for safe work. The health and life of a person in the workplace depend on the simple observance of the rules by himself and his colleagues. There was something to think about and the idea came up to shoot a video that would attract attention and remain in the viewer's memory", – continued Elena Naumova, the station's accountant.

Karim Sartaev, Head of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, is glad that the video of AlES JSC was highly appreciated and took first place. The authors were awarded certificates of honor and cash prizes. We express our gratitude to the Department of Labor Protection and Environmental Protection of JSC Samruk-Energo for holding such competitions.

Employees of "AlES" JSC have been participating in such contests for several years and taking prizes. All this indicates a high level of involvement in the occupational safety management system and improvement of the safety culture of the company's employees.
