THE FOCUS IS ON THE WORK OF INDUSTRIAL SAFETY AND LABOR PROTECTION COUNCILS

On April 20, 2022, the Center for Training, Research and Conflict Resolution of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a training seminar on the topic "Safety and labor protection" in Nur-Sultan. Aisulu Irzhanova, a member of the Production Council for Safety and Labor Protection of JSC AlES, took part in the event on behalf of JSC AlES.

The seminar discussed issues related to the activation of the work of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection Councils, the importance of public control, the role of technical inspectors in the life of labor collectives.

"As a participant of the seminar, I received a lot of new information about the activities of production councils and technical inspectors, about the organization of their work. We got acquainted with the experience of other teams in carrying out work on the organization of public control", –  Aisulu Irzhanova shared her impressions.

The Industrial Safety and Labor Protection Council has been operating in JSC AlES since 2017. The company employs 21 technical inspectors. These are trade union activists and skilled workers. Today, a lot of work is being done to implement public control and joint actions of representatives of the employer and employees to prevent occupational injuries and occupational diseases, as well as the Production Council organizes inspections of labor protection conditions at workplaces by technical labor inspectors.
