VIKTOR PAVLOVICH GULYAEV, A VETERAN OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR, HAS PASSED AWAY

On August 10, 2020, Viktor Pavlovich Gulyaev, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a knight of the Order of the Red Star, passed away at the age of 95. Viktor Pavlovich participated in the liberation of the south of Russia, Odessa. He fought for the liberation of Moldova, then passed the roads of Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Czechoslovakia. After the end of the war, Viktor Pavlovich worked at the Kapshagayskaya HPP in the department of capital construction. Then, working in the city committee of the party, he oversaw the construction and operation of the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station. In 2005, Viktor Pavlovich Gulyaev participated in the delegation of Kazakhstan at the Parade in Moscow in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War from the Almaty region.
There are fewer and fewer participants of that terrible time, heroes whose blood is poured on the road to a peaceful life. We try to preserve the memory of them for many decades and pass on to our children and grandchildren the whole meaning of the word Victory.
