JSC "ALES" SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE HEATING SEASON

The heating season 2019-2020 was completed on April 22, 2020 in accordance with the resolution No. 2/124 of the Akimat of Almaty. The heat supply is stopped due to the onset of stable warm weather. – In general, the heating season was successful, as evidenced by the uninterrupted supply of heat and electricity to consumers in the city and the Almaty region, - said Nurlan Mukhamed-Rakhimov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "AlES". - During this period, JSC "Almaty Electric Power Stations" produced 3.4 billion rubles.kV * h of electric energy and 4.4 million Gcal of thermal energy, having fulfilled in full the contractual obligations to consumers.
JSC "AlES" starts a repair campaign and implements projects for the reconstruction of the main and auxiliary equipment.

JSC "Almaty Electric power Stations" are the main energy source of Almaty and the Almaty region and provide about 76% of the heat of the district heating zone and 60% of electricity. JSC "AlES" includes in its composition: CHPP-1, CHPP-2, CHPP-3, Western thermal complex, Kapshagayskaya HPP, Cascade HPP, Production and Repair Enterprise "Energoremont", TSPVT. Reference: Every year, the heating season starts when the average daily outdoor temperature is below +8 degrees Celsius for five consecutive days, if the heat supply is carried out through a centralized system. The heating period ends when the average daily outdoor temperature stays above this level for five days. The terms of the heating season are approved by the Akimat of Almaty.
