ALES: REPAIR WORKS AT CHP-2 GO ON SCHEDULE

 

Currently, at CHPP-2,the repair work is in progress on the main and auxiliary equipment, according to the approved schedule.The first repair work began in March; repairs were completed at three power boiler units (stations №. 2,7,8) and three turbine units (stations №3,4,6). At the moment, three power boiler units (stations №1,4,5) and one turbine unit (stations №5) are undergoing scheduled repairs.

This year, large volumes of work to eliminate suction cups are planned at the boiler unit at station № 1, which impose restrictions on bearing the rated load of the boiler unit. Under the guidance of the master of “Energoremont” PRP Alexander Budon, work is underway to replace pressure head flues. Alexander Budon has a large experience in installation work.

- Now there is a major overhaul of the turbine unit st. №5 along with auxiliary equipment. Also, according to the schedule of repairs of the main equipment, work is underway to repair pumping equipment and heating equipment. There is ongoing monitoring of the quality of the work performed by the operating staff, as well as the detection of equipment that was taken out for repair,- said BaurzhanKaliev, chief engineer of CHP-2.

 

All performed repair work is aimed at preparing equipment for trouble-free operation in the autumn-winter period 2019-2020.
