IN THE CENTER OF ATTENTION- SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

On June 5, 2019, a seminar on “Sustainable Development and Risk Management through Corporate Culture and Change Management” was held for members of the Board of Directors and Management Board of “Almaty Power Plants” JSC. The event is scheduled as part of the “Action Plan for Improving the Corporate Governance System for 2018- 2019 ”, approved by the Board of Directors of the Company dated 29.06.2018.

- The main goal of the seminar program is to ensure sustainable development and risk management, development of competence: influencing, communication and change management. We discussed the issues of communication strategies for sustainable development, risk and corporate culture. We looked at how the roles are distributed in the Company to provide effective changes, analyze the stages of personal transformation, the company and the people during the changes, - shared SerikKaliev, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Development.

The seminar was organized joining with the “Samruk-Kazyna” Corporate University, and was conducted by Vladimir Shikov, Director of Business Development at KUSK.
