On May 30, 2019 a bilateral commission of representatives of the employer and employees of the Company to regulate social and labor relations concluded the “Collective agreement of JSC “Almaty Power Plants” for 2019–2022” with a validity period from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2022.

The collective agreement is a legal act that ensures the achievement of the objectives of social partnership at the level of the Company, which allows to improve the position of employees compared to the norms and conditions of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. All the benefits and guarantees previously accepted by the Companywere retained when concluding the new version of the Collective Agreement. Separate norms and conditions of the new edition of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstanwere recorded, which enacted on January 1, 2016, as well as the “Sectoral agreement in the field of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019-2021”.

Reworked the “List of occupations and positions of workers employed in hazardous (especially harmful) and hazardous working conditions and eligible to receive milk, for shorter working hours, additional paid annual leave and for increased wages according to the results of certification of workers places of production departments ”for the purpose of visual and operational determination of employee benefits.

The social programs also include incentives for winners of the contests: “The best employee in understanding the risk management system of industrial safety and the ability to conduct risk assessments at the workplaces of production departments of JSC “AlES” and “The best organization of labor protection among the production departments of JSC “AlES”.
