SAFETY AND LABOR PROTECTION IN PRIORITY

A working meeting with employees of the occupational health and safety services of production departments has been held by the Directorate of Reliability and Occupational Safety and Health Administration in the assembly hall of CHPP-1, On February 15, 2019.

- The meeting announced the results of the work of the security services and labor protection management for 2018. Questions on a moratorium on bringing to disciplinary responsibility of perpetrators of incidents in the field of occupational safety and health for the year 2019 were considered. By decision of the Board of Directors of “Samruk-Energy” JSC, this moratorium is introduced in order to increase the transparency of reporting and prevent the concealment of any incidents. For the period of the Moratorium, the responsibility of workers for the timely implementation of measures for the management of labor protection issues increases,- said Marat Akylbay, Head of the Department for Reliability and Occupational Safety and Health.

The seminar was attended by twenty-two employees of the Office of reliability and labor protection and health and safety services of JSC “AlES”.
