The Hotline is a channel for reporting alleged violations of legislation and/or Code of Conduct, cases of fraud, corruption, unauthorised disclosure of confidential and insider information. For questions related to products and services, as well as for official address to the management of "Samruk-Energy" JSC and subsidiaries and affiliated companies, one should use customer support services and contacts indicated on the corporate websites of the companies. Complaints against the actions and decisions of the customer, organiser, tender commission, expert commission, operator of the e-procurement information system of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC group should be submitted through the web portal of procurement zakup.sk.kz in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The position of Compliance Officer was introduced into the organisational structure of Almaty Power Plants JSC (hereinafter referred to as the Company) as part of the initiatives, measures and actions taken by the Board of Directors and the Management Board of the Company in order to:

– ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best international practices, including on anti-corruption issues;

– formation of internal corporate culture of the Company, which ensures transparency, honesty among employees and creates conditions for conducting business in accordance with the best international standards, internal policies and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Compliance Officer shall carry out his/her activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of the Company, the Collective Agreement of the Company, the Code of Conduct of the Company, the Corporate Governance Code of the Company, the Regulations on the Compliance Officer of the Company and other internal documents of the Company. The Compliance Officer of the Company shall be accountable to the Board of Directors of the Company, independent from the Management Board of the Company, as well as empowered and provided with resources to fulfil his/her duties.
