Reconstruction of the ash dump of the CHP-3. 4-turn. Execution of the CIW
The purpose and objectives of the project: Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of CHP-3. The implementation of this project will allow storing ash and slag waste of CHP-3 in the amount of 1,266,000 m3, and ensure the further operation of the ash dump in compliance with the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

named after Chokin. Execution of the CIW
The purpose and objectives of the project: During the operation of the Kapshagai HPP named after Chokin's fish & fauna from the Kapshagai reservoir enters its water intakes. Part of the fish & fauna dies at the same time, which damages the fish resources of the Ile-Balkhash basin. Taking into account the design features of the Kapshagai HPP, an electronic fish protection device was chosen for the installation of a fish protection device. In order to comply with the norms of environmental legislation and the Water Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the device performs the function of an electric barrier, blocking the way for fish resources and fish & fauna to the turbines of the hydroelectric power plant.
In 2022, according to the Investment Budget, a feasibility study and a DED were developed:
– Design of an automated emission monitoring system (AEMS) at the sources of JSC "AlES" CHP-1, CHP-2, CHP-3 and WTC;
– The device of the vibration system of hydraulic units of Kapshagai HPP named after Chokina JSC "AlES". Development of the DED;
– Development of a feasibility study for the construction of a combined-cycle gas plant with a capacity of 200-250MW at the CHPP-1 named after Orazbayev;
– Development of the feasibility study "Reconstruction of Almaty CHP-3";
– Reconstruction of the combined ash and slag removal system of CHP-2 (Stage 7). Development of the DED.
